Unplated circular blade (monometallic)

Non-plated (monometallic) circular blades are frequently used for the primary processing of wood, mainly for edging and sawing, when a too-smooth cutting surface is not necessarily desired. This type of blade presents a number of advantages, such as a low purchase cost and easy maintenance, but also has the disadvantage of obtaining a lower quality cut, increased energy consumption, and a larger amount of sawdust compared to CMS-plated circular blades.
