Flattening can be done manually for minor flaws emerged along the entire surface of the blade, or by using automatic machines for the patchy flaws on the surface of the blade.
Blade flattening and tensioning are checked after each usage, with the help of specially designed tools and devices. These are lengthy processes which require the operator to be fully trained and very experienced, therefore we recommend thoughtful exploitation of band saw blades.

Welding
To obtain a new band saw blade, a toothed steel roll is cut to the desired length, its edges are aligned so that the tooth pitch is the same in the welding area and then welding is performed.
